With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James McGinness Jr. of Larned, Kansas, born in Ava, Missouri, who passed away on August 1, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James McGinness and Bessie McGinness (Phillips); his son Ryan McGinness; and his siblings, Carl McGinness (Cheryl), Claude McGinness (Gloria) and Judith Campbell (Harlan).
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lloyd-May; his children, Max, Coco, Keesha, Tim McGinness and Michele Pfortmiller (Michael) of Larned; his grandchildren, Jessica Winger (Aaron) of Lubbock, TX, Nathanael Pfortmiller of McPherson, KS, Kimberly Pfortmiller of Larned and Christian McGinness of Larned; and his sister Juanita LeDesma (Joe) of El Paso, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
