In loving memory of Jack D. Smades of Larned, Kansas, born in Tribune, Kansas, who departed this world on August 30, 2024 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Smades and Helen Kean Smades; his son Gary Dean Smades; and his grandsons, Nathan McCullough and Nicholas McCullough.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dana Hammeke (Joe) of Belpre, KS, Jan Smades of Larned, KS. and Leigh Anne Seeman (Mike) of Larned, KS.; his sister Noreen Walk of Leoti, KS.; and his grandchildren, Doug Luebbers (Mecia), Tim Luebbers (Jennifer), Ryan Luebbers, Stephani Hughes (Adam), Madison Blackwill (Darien), Brooke Parkin (Ben), Robert McCullough, Anna Firth (Alex), Tyler Stelter (Bailey), Megan Stelter and Jack Stelter. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
