With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert Benton Bowman of Larned, Kansas, who passed away on October 3, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Benton and Velma Myrtle Rice Bowman; his brother Robert Bowman (Bob); and his son-in-law Stan Maskus. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Penka (Kathleen); his daughters, Donna Maskus, Hays, Dee Eberwein (James), Alma, Shelly Sexton (Gregg) and Sharon Lessard (Mark); his sister-in-law Mary Lou Bowman (Salina); his grandchildren, Mark Maskus, Matt Maskus, Allen Eberwein, Ben Eberwein (Jami), Chris Eberwein, Sarah Bowser (Jarrod), Jamie Sexton, Kathleen Schultze (Justin), Alex Filbert (Seth) and Amanda Lessard; and his great grandchildren, Ellerey, Easton Eberwein, Claire, Cora Bowser, Grant, Royce Schultze, Giles, Layne and Baby Filbert.
