It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Autry Farmer of Larned, Kansas, born in Compton, Arkansas, who passed away on December 10, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Farmer and Susie Farmer (Brewer); his daughter Sharon; and his siblings, Albert, Herman, Lyman, Melvin, Delphia and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Farmer of Larned, Kansas; his sons, Joe Farmer of Larned, Mike Farmer (Audrey) of Little River, Charles Bortz (Ashley) of Great Bend and Carl Bortz (Tasha) of Larned, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Kyler Farmer (Hannah), Zachary Farmer, Carson Farmer, Zaden Farmer, George Bortz and Alina Davis.
The family requests memorials be made to the family for later designation.
