He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie B. Miller Hoppes and Asa Hoppes; his son Thomas Hunter Schubert; and his siblings, David, Billy Ray, Donald Hoppes and Patricia Heath.
He is survived by: his former spouse Cathalene Brown; his daughter Montez Bradstreet of Odessa, TX; his siblings, Ronald Hoppes (Janice) of Hutchinson, KS and Judith LeClair of Hutchinson, KS; and his grandchildren, Stephania Welch (Nathan), Wes Bradstreet (Michelle), Max Bradstreet (Caitlyn), Colt Bradstreet (Taylor) and Janica Bishop. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
