Bruce Dirks Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bruce Dirks of Larned, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 14, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Dirks and Alyce Dirks; and his brother Dean. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Byrd; his children, Aaron Dirks (Jane) of Stilwell, KS and Andrea Deckert (Richard) of Larned; his grandchildren, Jake Deckert, Ethan Deckert, Anna Deckert, Chris Dirks (Stacy), Andrew Dirks (Jennie), Katie Kvasnicka (Derek) and Stephanie Gregg (James); his great grandchildren, Gabe, Gideon, Elise, Corbin, Linley, Macie, Alexis, Jack and Charlie; and his nieces, Carol Vrooman (Denny) and Judy Cole (Jess).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beckwith Mortuary (916 Main St, Larned, KS 67550-2533). A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to the Kansas Children's Service League or the Pawnee County Humane Society, both in care of Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
