It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Ashley of Larned, Kansas, born in Yuma, Arizona, who passed away on May 10, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Ervin and Rose Lee Pebsworth Patton; her son Ernest Lester Ashley; her son-in-law Michael Bartz; her siblings, Jerry Patton and Sue Sharp; and her granddaughter Laura Ashley.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest A. Ashley; her children, Duane Ashley, Suzan Haynes (Jim) of Larned and Sandi Bartz of Larned; her grandchildren, Michael Ashley (Jessie) of Bermerton, WA, Jordan Haynes (Sarah) of Bixby, OK, Tyler Ashley of Kansas City, MO, Kaitlyn Hatfield (Casey), Jeromy Bartz of Lincoln, NE, Brandon Bartz and Trevor Bartz; and her great grandchildren, Kaira Haynes, Josiah Haynes, Judah Haynes, Ariella Haynes, Colby Hatfield, Collins Hatfield and Holden Ashley.
