With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roberta Lavon Winney of Lansing, Kansas, born in Nevada, Missouri, who passed away on December 30, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Rhodes and Estella Rhodes (Reeder); her former husband John H. McKinzie Sr.; her husband James Winney; and her daughter Deborah Bretthauer.

She is survived by: her sons, John McKinzie (Dianna) and Robert McKinzie (Teresa) of Olathe, KS. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
