It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Fairbanks of Lansing, Kansas, who passed away on September 29, 2024, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Douglas and Kim Fairbanks; and his brother Douglas Fairbanks. He is survived by: his children, Orion Fairbanks of Kansas City, Rachel Fairbanks of Lansing and James Fairbanks of Lansing; and his brother John Fairbanks of San Diego, Calif..
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Richard Fairbanks Memorial Fund, a fund set up to continue assisting his children in their life events.
