She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Ward and Blanche Ward (Yocum). She is survived by: her husband Wilbur Barnes (Kan); and her children, Vince Barnes (Debra) of Lawrence, Kan., Vanessa Wheeler of Branson, Vicky Haddock (Ron) of San Antonio, Velora Riese (Steve) of Plattsmouth, Neb. and Vonna VandeVeer (Mark) of McKinney, Texas. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
