With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Irene L. Hanson of Lansing, Kansas, born in Twin Valley, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 12, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Irene may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ordel Hanson; her brother Harlan Baglein; and her children, Ordean Hanson, Jeffrey "Buffy" Hanson and Jerry Hanson.
She is survived by: her children, Marsha Hanson, Virgil Hanson, Lisa Ryan (Tom), Gary Hanson (Kathleen) and Marilyn Varela; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Baflein. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
