With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Charles Edward Haupt of Lansing, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Charles Edward left this world on January 13, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Haupt and Marguerite Haupt; his wife Sandra Wagner; his siblings, John Haupt Jr., Carl Haupt, James Haupt and Alice Haupt; his nephew David Haupt; and his great-niece Stephanie Harper.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Wacker (Dave) and Shelley Parks; his sisters, Anna May Haupt of Easton, KS, Joyce Amos of Jacksonville, AR, Ruth Marshall of Fredericksburg, VA and Martha Ann Haupt of Easton, KS; and his grandchildren, Lee Tripp (Brandy), Shanna Harper, Kristian Harper (Gouming), Jessica Tripp, Kyle Parks and Dalton Tripp. He is also survived by thirteen Great-Grandchildren, five Great-Great Grandchildren, seven nephews and three nieces.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Chapel (531 Shawnee St, Leavenworth, KS 66048). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
