Virginia Viola Salem Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Viola Salem of Lakin, Kansas, born in Holly, Colorado, who passed away on July 26, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Earl and Anna Mae Tyree (Schoonover); her sons, Michael Ray "Mickey" Sauer and Kenneth Erwin Sauer; her siblings, Bill Tyree, Wayne Tyree, Russell Tyree and Marilyn Lamborn; and her grandson Larry Lee Burns.
She is survived by: her children, John Gordon (Beverly Sauer), Richard Dwight Sauer of Lakin, Karen Louise (George Burns), Joyce Ann (Nelson Rider), George William (Captain) and Darla Sauer of Lakin. She is also survived by 17 Grandchildren, 32 Great-Grandchildren and 12 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
