It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosetta Frances Palkowitsh of Lakin, Kansas, who passed away on March 11, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Ellis and Stella Ellis; and her siblings, Josephine Coerber, Raymond Ellis, Robert Ellis, Ronald Ellis and Mary Jane O'Brian.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Rosie and Maybelle; her daughters, Venitta, Verna Ruth and Rosie; her granddaughters, Jennifer Lucille, Leslie Ann, Abbigail Elise and Alyssa Marie; her husband Raymond Palkowitsh; her children, Rick Palkowitsh (Bonnie) and Richelle Harmsen; her granddaughters, Jennifer Irvin (Rob) and Alyssa Harmsen; her great grandchildren, TJ Leuning, Audrey Leuning, Robbie Irvin, Bentley Leuning and Ruari Irvin; her sister Maybelle Bowen; and also Raymond.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to the Kit Carson County 4-H program in Rosie's name.
