With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Edith Anderson of Lakin, Kansas, born in Holcomb, Kansas, who passed away on August 7, 2023 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Robert and Ethel Mary Smith (Norton); her husband Herman Edward Anderson; her children, William Edward Anderson, Jimmy Clifford Anderson, Ronald Dean Anderson, Ivan David Anderson, Kenneth Leon Anderson, Richard Warren Anderson, Jerry Lee Anderson, Bobby Joe Anderson and Susan Marie Graves; and her siblings, William Lee Smith, Theodore Harmon Smith, Elmer Ray Smith and Faye Williamson Dale.
She is survived by: her sons, Tommy Ray Anderson of Tornado, George Bret Anderson of Great Bend and Gordon Eugene Anderson of Cimarron, Kansas. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
