He was predeceased by: his parents, Bud Collins and Myrtle Collins (Gross); and his granddaughter Ashley Jo Collins. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Kay Vanderpool; his children, John Collins of Labette City, KS and Michelle Collins of Pittsburg, KS; his stepson Robert Vanderpool; and his sister Joann Burris of Parsons, KS. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
