He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Henry Lips, Jr. and Iris Christina Lips Crawford (Olson); his wife Marty; his daughters, Lori Schramm (Mark) of The Colony, TX, Jan Streeter (Marshall) of Cheyenne, WY and Amy Terrapin (Mack) of Alma, KS; his brother Fred Lips of Riley, KS; his stepsister Sharon Brown (Crawford) of Prairie Village, KS; his grandchildren, Brooke Wilson (Phill), Layne Miles (Alex), Nick Terrapin, Alli Terrapin, Claire Streeter and Lauren Streeter; and his great grandchildren, Reid, Blaire Wilson, Henry and Kate Miles.
