He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin E. Medlen and Lela Ellen Medlen (Craven); his sister Laura Medlen; and his granddaughter Abrianna Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Genevieve; his daughters, Cathy Heiber (Dan) and Teresa Damron (Dennis); his stepchildren, Todd, Trent, Travis Roberts and Tara Moylan; his siblings, Wayne Medlen (Mary), Dean Medlen (Alma), Randy Medlen (Carol), Louise Swearingen (Roy), Freda Medlen, Linda Meyer (Larry) and Carol Shea (Bob); his grandchildren, Tyler, Justin Heiber, Ben Damron, Tyson Roberts, Carter Moylan, Leah Roberts (Codie Derry), Jordan Roberts, Taylor Kinney (Jon), Chloe Roberts and Grace Moylan; and his great grandchild Evelynn Derry.
The family suggests contributions to the Rutlader Outpost Cowboy Church and may be sent in care of Schneider Funeral Home P.O. Box 304.
