He is survived by: his wife Melissa Wurtz; his mother Alice Helmuth; his siblings, James Helmuth (Dana), David Helmuth and Alice Christopher (Matthew); and his nieces and nephews, Ian Helmuth (Hiromi), Patrick Christopher (Emelen), Alison Christopher, Isabel Christopher, Katie Helmuth, Tristian Wurtz (Brandon Smith) and Jenae Daniels (Adam).
