He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Turpen and Dorothy Funk Turpen; and his brother LeRoy Turpen. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis LeRoy; his sons, Scott Turpen (Jamie) and Bryan Turpen; his sisters, Kay DeMott, Linda Brambach and Diane VanWinkle; and his grandchildren, Laurel, Mason and Chase.
