It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan J Cornett (La Cygne, Kansas), born in Linn, Kansas, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Mendel and Alta Clearwater Mendel; her husband Delbert Cornett; her brothers, Ron, Clifford and Kenneth Mendel; her grandchildren, Julie and Michael Cornett; and her great grandchild Braxton Michelle.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Michelle, Randi Cornett, Raymond Cornett, Glenn Cornett and Perry Cornett. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
