He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Newport and Nellie Marie Trusty Newport. He is survived by: his wife Joann DeBolt; his children, Bob Newport (Belinda), Daryl Newport (Nora), Randy Newport (Christine), Marty Newport (Vicki), Chris Newport (Shelly), Patricia Dunn, Marcella Hampson (Dean) and Susan Ford (Mike); and his sister Twannette Nickell. He is also survived by twenty three grandchildren, forty six great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
