It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis N Mayes (La Cygne, Kansas), born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on July 29, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd William and Esther Marie Kent Mayes Sr.; his wife Elizabeth Hostetler; and his sister Linda Hill. He is survived by: his children, Jason Mayes (Savannah), Phillip Mayes (Christa), Christopher Mayes, Nicole Elliott (Steve) and Stephanie Rueda; and his brothers, Floyd Mayes Jr., Randy Mayes, Rick Mayes, Raymond Maes and Samuel Mayes. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
