We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2021, at the age of 54, Robert J. Keener of La Crosse, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel George and Evelyn Joyce Keener (Greenler). He is survived by: his wife Shelley Oelkers; his daughter Dyan Axman (Tony); his granddaughter Raelyn Axman; his brothers, Tom Keener (LeAnn) and Jeff Keener (Tacy); and his nieces and nephews, Scott Keener, Jacob Keener, Stephanie Goings and Samantha Tholen. He is also survived by four great nephews; and two great nieces.

In lieu of flowers or plants, the family request memorials to the Fort Hays Shrine Club, Hays, Kansas, or the Fort Hays State University Foundation Department of Agriculture, Hays, Kansas.
