With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maynard Melvin Steitz of La Crosse, Kansas, who passed away on November 8, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Steitz and Elizabeth Steitz (Wilhelm); and his siblings, Leona Steitz, Victor, Reinhold, Eberhardt, Leland Steitz, Verneta Healzer, Leona Keil and Ruby Shank.
He is survived by: his sister Wilma Steadman; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Steitz and Beverly Steitz. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family requests memorials to the First Lutheran Church, La Crosse, Kansas.
