He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas J. Herrman and Veronica Herrman (Legleiter); and his siblings, Chris, Elmer, Alvin, Albert, Alex, Kenneth, Raymond, Emma Moeder, Agnes Herrman, Bertha Sauber, Edith Bollig, Elenora Moeder and Louise Herrman.
He is survived by: his wife Florence Herrman; his son Michael Herrman; his daughter-in-law Melodie Herrman Pruett; and his sister-in-law Twila Herrman. He is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family requests memorials to masses or St. Michael's Catholic Church Roof Fund, La Crosse, Kansas, or Rush County Memorial Hospital Intermediate Swing Bed, La Crosse, Kansas.
