She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. "Jack" Mendenhall and Tenie A. Mendenhall (Leatherbury); her former husband Richard A. Cunningham; her spouse G. W. Thompson; her siblings, Jack Mendenhall, Reettia Wittman and Leona Mendenhall; and her siblings-in-law, Sharon Mendenhall and Billy Owen.
She is survived by: her sisters, Jeanette Rogers (Walter), Barbara Owen and Linda Schenk (Daniel); her niece Colette Wittman; and her stepchildren, David Thompson, Daniel Thompson (Julie), Dennis Thompson (Christine) and Deborah K. Brashier (Larry). She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family request memorials to the Lois M. Thompson Memorial Fund.
