He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse P. Goetz and Leoba Goetz (Schmidtberger). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Goetz; his children, Steven Sanders (Gail) and Pamela Watts (Jim); his grandchildren, Jarrod Sanders, Heather McWhirter (Dusty), Derek Ogden (Allisann), Brianne Dohrmann (Judd) and Micaela Ogden; and his brothers, Norman Goetz and Jim Goetz (Sue). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family requests memorials to the Kansas Honor Flight, or the Wounded Warrior Project.
