He was predeceased by: his parents, William Newman and Louise Newman (Cecil); and his brothers, Larry "Dale" Newman and Gary Newman. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Newman; his children, Jerry Newman II (Tressidy Barenberg) and Brandi Ostrom (Jerred); his grandchildren, Triniti Ostrom, Tristan Ostrom and Braxton Lee Newman; and his siblings, Jim "Bubba" Newman, Billy Newman, Mike Newman, Brenda Sue Alexander and Debbie Jones.
