We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2023, at the age of 88, Jerry D. Borgstadter of La Crosse, Kansas, born in Lincoln, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Herman and Bertha Mae Borgstadter (Shafer); his son-in-law Dale Nixon; and his brother Gerald Borgstadter. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Borgstadter (Solomon); his children, Darin Borgstadter (Holly Galloway) and Valerie Nixon (Borgstadter); his stepson John Pokorny MD; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Nixon and Dallen Nixon; his stepgrandchildren, Ryan Pokorny, Virginia and Jill Stolz (Pokorny); and also Aspen Elaine Stolz.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Rush County Memorial Hospital Intermediate Swing Bed, La Crosse, Kansas, or the Jerry Borgstadter Football Scholarship, La Crosse High School, La Crosse, Kansas.
