He was predeceased by: his parents, Bohumil F. "B. F." and Rose Mary Pechanec (Vsetecka); and his sisters, Rosemary Dome and Helen Finger. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Pechanec of La Crosse, Kansas; his children, Kurt Pechanec (Laura) of Nekoma, Kansas and Pam Rose (Sam) of Gainesville, Texas; his grandchildren, Kristen Rose, Kassandra Pechanec and Garrett McCormick; his sister Mary Urban of La Crosse, Kansas; his daughter Faye Evans of Derby; his grandsons, Wade and Troy Evans; his son Douglas Pechanec of Washington; his grandson Roger Pechanec of Oregon; and his great grandchildren, Cody and Kiley Pechanec.
The family requests memorials be directed to the 4-H Cattle Department of the Rush County Fair or the Timken Rural Fire Department.
