She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Popp and Olinda Popp (Schwartzkopf); her former husband Harlan DeWald; her husband Robert D. Hanhardt; her son Stephen Dale DeWald; her daughter-in-law Enid "E. J." DeWald; her granddaughter Justina Elizabeth DeWald; her stepson Jim Hanhardt; her siblings, Vernon Popp and LoRee; and her brother-in-law Elroy Dietz.
She is survived by: her children, Mark DeWald and Janice Huthoefer (Don); her grandchildren, Jessica Riebel (Chase), Jonathan DeWald (Julie), Katie Harrelson and Daniel Huthoefer; her great grandchildren, Mathew Huthoefer, Jacob Riebel, Abigail Nilges (Sam), Alexandria Langworthy (Coleton), Anastasia Riebel, Ashley Riebel, Flint Riebel, Tinesha DeWald, Reuben DeWald and Heaven DeWald; her great great grandchildren, Pompey Nilges and Samantha Nilges; her sisters, Theresa Dietz (Emil) and Shirley Maier (Robert); her stepson Ron Hanhardt (Juanita); her stepdaughter-in-law Shelley Hanhardt; her sisters-in-law, Alice Michaelis and Shirley DeWald; and her stepgrandsons, Matthew Hanhardt and Luke Hanhardt. She is also survived by step grandchildren; step great grandchildren; step great great grandchildren.
