With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Thorp of Kismet, Kansas, born in Enid, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 23, 2023 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald Thorp to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Thorp and Elda Thorp (Welch); his siblings, Darrel Thorp and Jenny Calhoun; and his grandson Jordan Thorp.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Pope; his children, Raymond Thorp of Wichita, Gary Thorp (Brenda) of Alvaton, Randall Thorp (Donna) of Kismet and Carolyn Quillin (Dave) of South Haven, Kansas; his sisters, Monita Lank of Westchester and Wilma Monical of Wichita, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Jeff Quillin, Travis Quillin, Daneil Hampton, Ashley Kling, Lauren Thorp, Steven McKinney, Chad McKinney, Ryan McKinney, Tucker Thorp and Garrett Thorp. He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family would welcome memorials to the Plains Friends Church, Young at Heart Senior Center, or the Crossroads Therapeutic Riding Center, in care of the funeral home.
