She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Vern and Carrie Maye Staats (Allen); her husband Bobby "Bob" G. Sears; and her siblings, Lawrence Staats, Lewis Staats, Boyd Staats, Roger Staats, Wilberta Rauhut and Marjorie Durall.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Morton of Wichita, Denise Blake of Wichita and Eric Sears (Ronica) of Haviland; her grandchildren, Dustin Harrell of Wichita, Brent Harrell (Angela) of Conway Springs, Bryce Morton (Jill) of Olathe, Whitney Shayo (Pesa) of San Antonio, Heath Blake of Wichita, Dylan Sears of Virginia Beach and Nicholas Sears of Olathe; and her sister-in-law Betty Liebst of Nashville. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
