He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Vogel and Phyllis Vogel; and his siblings, Shelley Buch, Ned and Chris Vogel.
He is survived by: his wife Dena Hodges; his brother David (Trisha Vogel) of Hutchinson, KS.; his stepchildren, Beth (John Moses), Levi and Bill McManaman; and his grandchildren, Cole, Cael and Camren Moses of Wichita, KS.. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
