It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Mathias Dockendorf of Kinsley, Kansas, born in Dodge City, Kansas, who passed away on September 20, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mathias Dockendorf and Mary Havas Dockendorf. He is survived by: his children, Donna, Kerry Froetschner of Rozel, KS, Janice, Kevin Rabe of Spearville, KS, Andy and Shawna Dockendorf of Kinsley, KS.; his grandchildren, Nikki of Hays, KS, Josh Cooper of Hays, KS, Katie of Hays, KS, Logan Durler of Hays, KS, Brittney, Junior and Mathias; his great grandchildren, Lilly Cooper, Lakyn Durler, Jordyn Durler, Clara Hollerich and Michael Cooper; his sisters, Geraldine, Virginia Ryan, Dorothy Trenkamp and Rosann (Dave Tasset); and his sister-in-law Arlene (Bud Busch). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery Association or St Nicholas Catholic Church.
