Though Edward Owen may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edward Owen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Edward Eslinger and Frances Marie Smykla; his grandchildren, Penelope, Able Resse, Phoenix and Ember Reason; and his siblings, S. Kim Pepperd (Miles) of Kinsley, Ellen Jacobsgard of New Castle, Vicky Smith of Parker and David Eslinger (Gretta Jo) of Wichita, KS.. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hillside Cemetery.
