Dorothy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homa Glover and Ethel Glover (Haynes); her husband Emmett; and her siblings, Juanita, Homa Jr., Jessie Earl, Ted and Betty Jo (BJ).
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Elyse Short (Steve) of Kyle, TX and Brad Eustace (Jeanne) of Kinsley, KS.; her grandchildren, Renee Hammonds, Rebecca Giello (Scott), Robyn Short (Scott Misthnick), Cori Butler (Jon), Ryan Eustace (Taryn) and Garrett Eustace (Staci); her great grandchildren, Brittney, Brandon, Athena, Graci (Shane), Millie, Pierce, Kirstyn (Chad), Whitten, Kendall, Truett, Henley and Everly; her great great grandchildren, Tryston and Kylee; her stepgrandchildren, Josh Schmitt (Beth), Jacob Schmitt and Danielle Schmitt (Derek Noll); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Tysen, Wesley, Grant and Emma.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the McKillip Memorial Chapel (623 Marsh Ave, Kinsley, KS 67547). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memory Gardens (Plains Blvd, Amarillo, TX).
