She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Grant and Ida Mae Latham Helm; her husband Jimmy Ray Claypool; her children, Franklin Shane Claypool and Sandra Kim Claypool; her daughter-in-law Sandra Lee Claypool; and her brothers, Bob, Don, Bill and Clarence Helm.
She is survived by: her sons, Stacy Claypool and Shawn Claypool (Diana Linn). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
