He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gabriel Valadez and Maria Valadez (Alvarez); his wife Gloria Gonzales; his children, Larry, Tom (Melinda), Jeanette, Diane (Scott), Jacquie (David), Janelle (Tim) and Jennifer (Steven); and his siblings, A. Ernest and Mary (James).

Memorials may be made to St. Patrick Catholic School and local Knights of Columbus Council #1269.
