He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hilger and Margaret Anna Hilger; his siblings, Harold, Vincent, Richard, Sylvester, Virgil, Florence, Delaphine, Sr. (Loretta), Roseanne and Helen (Lucy); and his granddaughter Nicole Marie.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Lucille Mertens; his children, Dan, David (Linda), Dean, Donna Ratzlaff (Tom), Debra Lorg, Dianne Taber, Denise Baker (Greg), Darlene Jacobs and Doris Boroughs; and his sister Jeanette Traffas. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made with the St. Louis Church, St. Patrick Catholic Church, Paramount HCF and Good Shepherd Hospice, all in care of the funeral home.
