He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph John and Clara Brown Mattal; and his siblings, Robert, Edward, Clarence, Grace Pike, Blanche Coleman, Effie Mae Bingham, Phyllis McCollom, Eunice Mattal and Virginia Laverentz.
He is survived by: his wife Geneva I. Louthan; his children, John Mattal (Rhonda) and Donna Legleiter (Bill); his grandchildren, Staci, Mike, Billy, Nichole and Mandi; and his great grandchildren, Taylor, Aiden, Austin, Amaya, Mekhi and Rayden.
Memorials may be made with the City of Nashville or the Zenda United Methodist Church both in care of the funeral home.
