Vernon Sprague Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Sprague of Kincaid, Kansas, who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arzy Sprague and Hazel Sprague (Beal); his wife Coletta O'Mara; his daughter Carol McGhee; his son-in-law Harold Thexton; and his siblings, Harold, Kenneth Sprague, Vera Terrell, Lorene Webster and Opal Furr.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marilyn Thexton of Colony, Sandra Adams (Tom) of Kincaid and Diane Calahan (Darrel) of Colony; and his sisters, Blanche Ford of Sugarland and Violet Holt of Kincaid. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lone Elm Ladies and left in care of the funeral home.
