With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Correa of Kincaid, Kansas, born in Moran, Kansas, who passed away on November 29, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne F. Thompson and Ida Jean Thompson (Hastings); her former husband Lloyd Vernon Hammonds; her husband Nick Y. Correa; her daughter Christine Hammonds; her daughter-in-law Amber Correa; and her grandson Antonio Correa.
She is survived by: her children, Lloyd Gene Mears, Rhonda Cumplido (Jorge) of Kincaid, Quincy Correa (Pam) of Port Hadlock and Lefric Mears (Heather) of Munford, Tennessee; and her siblings, Carol Hunsperger of Moran, Kansas, Butch Thompson (Twila) of Douglas, Brian Thompson (Nina) of Pomona and Wayman Thompson (Grace) of Kincaid. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
