He was predeceased by: his parents, R. S. "Bill" Brixey and Georgia Brixey (Brooks); his siblings, Betty Parker, Judy Powell and Jerry Brixey; his in-laws, Paul and Margaret Evans; and his pet Gator.
He is survived by: his wife Leanna Evans; his sons, Donnie Brixey of Lebo and Jeff Brixey (Loriann) of Greenville, Texas; his grandchildren, Savannah Humphrey (Matthew), Scarlett Westbrook (Joe) and Trent Godwin (Tamara); and his great grandchildren, Mattie, Kynslee, Emma Jo, Allysen, Zoey and Sutton. He is also survived by many other cousins and friends.
