She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren J. Daugherty and Eunice Daugherty (Caldwell); her former husband Bill Bruce; her son Douglas Bruce; her stepson Eric Stansbury; and her siblings, John Daugherty and Martha Chandler.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Karen, Ellis and Alice; her husband Ellis Stansbury; and her children, Chris Bruce, Brian Stansbury, Ginger Stansbury, Lonnie Stansbury and Kristina Stansbury. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
