She was predeceased by: her parents, August Brunow and Minnie Brunow; her siblings, Edwin, Alene, Lawrence, Pearl (Townsend) and Homer Brunow (Erwin); her daughter Jayne Scott; her son-in-law Waverly Scott; and her granddaughter Erin Rietzke.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Rietzke (Dixie) and Vincent Rietzke (Kim) of Kensington; her grandchildren, Ryan Rietzke (Tiffany), Courtney Friesen (Mark), McKenzie Bailey (Grant), Brooke McDowell (Darin), Kyle Scott (Kelly), Lucas Scott (Barbara), Jess Rietzke (Stacy) and Cade Rietzke (Danielle); her great grandchildren, Trent (Keagan), Kennedy, Kamryn Rietzke, Ceeley, Milea Friesen, Jace, Kacen Bailey, Brillon, Breckyn McDowell, Logan Reed, Kynlee Scott, Grayson, Weston Rietzke, Camden and Beau Rietzke; and her great great grandchildren, Charlie and Hayden Rietzke.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First St. John Lutheran Church (322 N Adams Ave, Kensington, KS 66951). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
