He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wharton and Mildred "Clegg" Wharton; his siblings, Don, Dennis, Joanne and Susie; and his cousin Joe.
He is survived by: his sons, Andrew Wharton, Jeremy Wharton (Allison), Nick Wharton, Caleb Alexander (Elizabeth) and Aaron Alexander; his siblings, Sallie Clark (Edward) and Michael Wharton (Kaycee); and his grandchildren, Easton Wharton, Russell Wharton, Kaitlyn Wharton, Issiac Wharton, Madison Wharton and Candice Brynds.
