He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Oropeza; his children, Lisa Johnson (Brad), Steven Oropeza (Felicia) and Kelly Oropeza; his grandchildren, Meagan Figueroa (Luis), Alejandro Canchola (Luz), David Ortega, Adreana Oropeza and Emily Oropeza; his great grandchildren, Ophelia and Giovanni Figueroa; and his siblings, Dolores Perez (Eddie), Anthony Oropeza (Carmen), Herlinda Hernandez, Sophia Crowley and Raymond Oropeza (Pam). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM and at 2:00 PM.
