He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank B. Mattox and Lucile E. Mattox; his sister Merilee; and his grandson E. J. Schaeffer. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte (Charlie); and his children, Debra Rosenthal (Jack), Rick Mattox (Tina) and Jodi Keay (Andy). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren, his 2 brothers, 3 sisters, their spouses, and numerous nieces and nephews.
